In addition to balancing on our stationary balancing tables, we also offer field balancing. Your advantage is that balancing is also possible on your premises in most cases.

Replacement of bearings, also directly at the site

We are specialised on products from the manufacturers Leroy Somer, Stamford Newage, Marelli and AvK. Replacement end shields or complete replacement generators are available for many types. In other words: If it is determined that one or even both end shields are worn, it is nevertheless possible to continue working, and unnecessary downtime is avoided
Thanks to our laser alignment systems, we are able to align both belt drives and flexibly coupled drive systems to an accuracy of 1/100 mm.
Many premature failures of gensets – some people even speak of up to 50% – are due to misalignment.
Correct alignment of the shafts extends the service life of couplings, roller bearings and gearboxes. Reduced vibration is another positive side effect.
Our well-equipped pool of measuring devices includes, among others, Fluke devices of the 4xx series, Gossen Metrawatt (MavoWatt) and specially designed data recorders with up to 12 channels.
Thanks to these measuring systems, the measurement, recording and localisation of sporadically occurring errors during ramp-up, synchronisation etc. can be realised very quickly. Arrangements for long-term measurements on your premises is similarly no problem.
Rewinding at the site
Generators on vessels, for example, are often indispensable. The removal of a generator due to a defective winding is expensive and takes much time; therefore, we have specialised on just a few series and are now able to replace various components directly on site. Your advantage is obvious: You save time and money, and avoid standstill.
Tests / Test Benches
With our stationary regulator test bench, it is possible to check, test, adjust and gauge any voltage regulator. Even mains-parallel operation is possible by way of synchronisation.
The manufacturing and distribution of such test benches is also included in our range of products and services. Cummins Generator Technologies is also one of our customers. Our test benches are so advanced that they are even used by Cummins Generator Technologies for training purposes.
Electrical machines up to a weight of 20t can be fully disassembled, overhauled and repaired in our electrical workshop in Rendsburg.

Tests of protective devices
Protective devices are an indispensable part of system protection for the operation of electrical equipment on a grid, e.g. the grid of your utility company, or at grid connection points, e.g. a co-generation plant.
Protective devices may be, for example, electromechanical, electronic or the widespread digital protection relays. In other words: Protective devices are relays that protect the genset quickly and reliably in case of time-based overcurrent, undervoltage, overvoltage, underfrequency and overfrequency at vector jumps (voltage-current offset) and serve to disconnect it from the grid.
Do your protective relays still meet the requirements specified by your utility company and are they still adjusted correctly?
You are dependent on your drives – whether electric motor, generator or pump – as they are at the same time what drives your company. But what do you know about the real condition of your electric motors or gensets?
We can help you to find out by determining the actual condition of your genset by way of the FFT analyser A2130 from CSI (measurement of the vibration velocity).
Regular follow-up measurements are performed to acquire trend information and to avoid damage.
For example, it is possible to assess the condition of the roller bearings and the lubrication status, and unbalances or misalignments can be detected and rectified by way of a laser alignment system.
Thermographic images help to identify defective components and, when applied correctly, are able to reveal weak points in the power generation, distribution and mechanics.
It is also possible to adapt maintenance intervals and, ideally, to avoid downtime.
